The Joie I-Snug 2 Car Seat is slightly heavier than its predecessor (i-Snug) at 3.35 kg, but still remains one of the lightest i-Size car seats on the market. The Tri-Protect™ headrest offers safety with three layers of side protection. It combines with the following bases: i-Base Encore (a swivel base that allows the seat to rotate 90º towards the doors), i-Base, i-Base lx 2 and i-Base Advance. All bases (with the exception of the i-Base) are compatible with subsequent car seats, extending their use up to 4 years of age. This car seat can be installed with the car's seatbelts. It also combines with most Joie strollers and other brands on the market using Maxi-Cosi type adapters.
