Warranty and After-Sales Support

Last updated: July 3, 2026

At Bonabebe, we carefully select the products we sell and only work with brands recognized for their quality and safety.

If a product has a lack of conformity or requires technical assistance, you can count on our support throughout the entire process.

1. Legal Warranty

All products sold by Bonabebe benefit from the legal warranty of conformity, under applicable Portuguese law.

The legal warranty applies to non-conformities existing at the date of delivery of the product and that become apparent during the legally stipulated period.

The rights granted by the legal warranty do not affect any other rights provided for in consumer protection legislation.

2. Manufacturer's Commercial Warranty

Some manufacturers provide an additional commercial warranty.

Whenever it exists, this warranty:

  • is provided by the manufacturer;
  • is in addition to the legal warranty;
  • does not replace or limit the rights conferred by Portuguese legislation.

The specific conditions of the commercial warranty may vary depending on the brand and product.

3. When Should I Contact Bonabebe?

You should contact us whenever the product:

  • has a manufacturing defect;
  • stops working correctly for no apparent reason;
  • shows a lack of conformity;
  • arrived damaged;
  • is incomplete;
  • needs to be forwarded for technical assistance.

Our team will monitor the entire process and provide the necessary support.

4. How to Activate the Warranty

To initiate a warranty process, you should send an email to: info@bonissa.pt

Whenever possible, indicate:

  • order or invoice number;
  • name of the buyer;
  • brand and model of the product;
  • detailed description of the situation;
  • illustrative photos or videos, when applicable.

In some cases, it may be necessary to send the product for technical evaluation.

5. Technical Evaluation

Depending on the type of product and brand, it may be necessary for the item to be analyzed by:

  • Bonabebe;
  • manufacturer;
  • official brand representative;
  • authorized technical assistance center.

The technical evaluation will determine:

  • if there is a lack of conformity;
  • the origin of the anomaly;
  • the most suitable solution.

Whenever necessary, we will keep the Customer informed about the progress of the process.

6. Available Solutions

When the existence of a lack of conformity covered by the legal warranty is confirmed, the following solutions may be applied, depending on the case and current legislation:

  • product repair;
  • replacement with an identical or equivalent item;
  • appropriate price reduction;
  • contract termination with corresponding refund, when legally applicable.

The solution adopted will depend on the nature of the situation and applicable legislation.

7. Situations Not Covered by Warranty

The warranty does not cover situations resulting from:

  • incorrect use;
  • non-compliance with manufacturer's instructions;
  • accidents;
  • falls;
  • impacts;
  • negligent use;
  • normal wear and tear from use;
  • inadequate washing or maintenance;
  • alterations or repairs carried out by unauthorized third parties;
  • use for purposes other than those intended by the manufacturer.

These situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Childcare Products

Products intended for the transport, rest, feeding or safety of babies must be used exclusively according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Bonabebe recommends reading the entire instruction manual before first use.

In the case of:

  • car seats;
  • strollers;
  • carrycots;
  • modular systems;
  • baby carriers;
  • breast pumps;
  • bouncers;
  • other childcare items,

it is essential to respect all safety recommendations.

9. Parts, Accessories and Components

Whenever possible, Bonabebe can assist in obtaining parts or accessories provided by manufacturers.

The availability of these components depends on the policy of each brand and its respective manufacturer.

10. After-Sales Assistance

Even after purchase, we remain available to support our customers.

We can provide support regarding:

  • product use;
  • assembly questions;
  • compatibility between accessories;
  • correct use of car seats;
  • compatibility between strollers, carrycots, infant car seats and adapters;
  • referral for technical assistance.

Whenever the issue depends exclusively on the manufacturer, we will refer the Customer to the competent entity, monitoring the process whenever possible.

11. Document Retention

We recommend that you retain:

  • the purchase invoice;
  • instruction manuals;
