All-Terrain Pushchairs

Why you should buy the Cybex Balios S Lux with Foldable Carrycot

The Cybex Balios S Lux with foldable carrycot stands out due to a particularly practical innovation for parents' daily lives: the foldable carrycot folds with the stroller chassis, without needing to be removed first.

This is the big new feature of the set with the Balios S Lux. Instead of dismantling the carrycot, storing it separately, and then folding the stroller, you simply fold the entire unit compactly. The result is a stroller that is easier to transport, simpler to store, and much more convenient for families who frequently use a car or have limited space at home.

The Balios S Lux combines this new functionality with premium comfort, comfort suspension, all-terrain wheels, an XXL sun canopy, a reversible seat, and compatibility with car seats.

The big new feature: the foldable carrycot folds with the chassis

The main highlight of this set is the foldable carrycot. More than just a compact carrycot, it was designed to simplify the process of folding and storing the stroller.

The main advantage is clear: the carrycot can remain installed on the Balios S Lux while the chassis is folded.

In practice, this means:

• fewer steps to store the stroller;
• fewer loose parts to transport;
• quicker to place the stroller in the car boot;
• more compact storage at home;
• more practical daily use.

This feature makes the Balios S Lux particularly appealing for those who need a robust, comfortable, and at the same time, easy-to-store stroller.

Space-saving foldable carrycot

The Balios Foldable Carrycot was developed for this set. It is a spacious, comfortable, and ready-to-use foldable carrycot for babies from birth.

Its folding system allows the carrycot's volume to be reduced without compromising interior comfort. It's a practical solution for those looking for a compact carrycot but don't want to forgo a spacious and cozy resting area.

The Balios Carrycot functions as a true portable bassinet for the first few months, offering the baby a safe, protected, and comfortable space.

Why is it so important for the carrycot to fold with the chassis?

In many strollers, the carrycot has to be removed before folding the chassis. This can make the process less practical, especially when parents are alone, in a hurry, or trying to store the stroller in the car.

With the Balios S Lux with foldable carrycot, this process is simpler. The carrycot folds with the chassis, making the unit more functional.

This feature is especially useful in situations such as:

• car trips;
• storage in small apartments;
• frequent travel;
• shopping trips;
• weekend getaways;
• transport in lifts or confined spaces.

This is where the Balios S Lux foldable carrycot becomes a real competitive advantage.

Comfort from birth

Despite being a foldable carrycot, it maintains a spacious and comfortable interior.

The carrycot includes a soft foam mattress, designed to offer adequate support for the baby and good air circulation. The interior provides an ergonomic position suitable from the first days of life, allowing the newborn to rest in a natural position.

The carrycot offers:

• enough space for the baby to stretch out;
• comfortable and breathable mattress;
• protected environment;
• gentle support;
• a feeling of coziness.

It is a carrycot designed to combine comfort, practicality, and ease of transport.

Travel System: more flexibility for parents

The Balios S Lux is compatible with a Travel System.

This allows the same chassis to be used with different solutions:

• Foldable carrycot (included);
• Car seat (sold separately here);
• Reversible seat.

The Travel System is ideal for families who frequently switch between car and stroller. With a compatible car seat, it's easier to transfer the baby from the car to the stroller without waking them up.

This versatility makes the Balios S Lux a complete solution from birth up to toddlerhood.

Compact and easy-to-transport chassis

The Balios S Lux chassis was designed to facilitate transport and storage.

With the new foldable carrycot, the unit becomes even more practical, as the carrycot can fold with the chassis. This combination reduces the overall volume and simplifies daily use.

The compact chassis is suitable for:

• car boots;
• home storage;
• travel;
• urban commutes;
• frequent transport.

The chassis folds simply, quickly, and is designed to make parents' daily lives easier.

XXL sun canopy with UPF 50+ protection

The XXL sun canopy is another essential element of this set.

Both the carrycot and the seat include an extendable canopy with UPF 50+ protection, helping to shield the baby from the sun, wind, and mild weather conditions.

The XXL sun canopy also includes a mesh ventilation zone, allowing for greater air circulation and making it easier to keep an eye on the baby.

Main benefits:

• enhanced sun protection;
• extendable canopy;
• mesh ventilation;
• greater thermal comfort;
• protection during strolls.

Comfort suspension for smoother rides

The Balios S Lux includes comfort suspension, an important feature to ensure quieter rides.

The combination of the chassis suspension with the front wheel suspension helps absorb unevenness in the ground, making the ride smoother.

This advanced suspension is especially useful on:

• pavements;
• urban strolls;
• parks;
• uneven paths;
• mixed surfaces.

With comfort suspension, the baby experiences fewer bumps and parents drive with greater stability.

Puncture-proof all-terrain wheels

The Balios S Lux all-terrain wheels were designed to offer resistance and safety on different surfaces.

The large, puncture-proof wheels provide stable handling, both in urban environments and on more uneven terrain.

The main advantages are:

• greater stability;
• good grip;
• wear resistance;
• comfortable ride;
• less worry about punctures.

Combined with comfort suspension, the all-terrain wheels make this stroller suitable for intensive daily use.
