This car seat is part of a modular system, which means you use the same Isofix Base with the first car seat (infant carrier) iZi Go Modular X1 i-Size and when your child outgrows it, you can transition them to the next car seat, the iZi Modular X1 i-Size, using the same base. This maximizes your initial investment in the base for another 3 years. With this car seat, you can keep your child rear-facing until approximately 4 years old (recommended), or if necessary, you can turn them forward-facing (only from 15 months onwards). The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 i-Size has been updated with 3 new features:- The Dynamic Force Absorber™ in the headrest contains side impact protection
- The additional side impact protection SIP+ is now designed with a slide-on construction for quick and secure attachment to the seat
- The Ergo-Move™ shoulder pads are developed based on insights from AGR development experts and provide the child with additional freedom of movement for their arms

Modular system that grows with your child
It's part of a modular system that uses the same Isofix base as the iZi Go Modular X1 i-Size infant carrier. When your child outgrows the infant carrier, they move up to the iZi Modular X1 i-Size while keeping the same base — making the most of your initial investment in the base for a further 3 years.
Rear-facing up to 4 years
It lets the child travel rear-facing until 4 years (recommended), the position up to 5x safer. If needed, it can be turned forward-facing, but only from 15 months.
Reinforced side impact protection
Includes built-in side impact protection (SIP) in the seat shell and additional SIP+ protection with a sliding design that fits quickly and securely onto the seat's frame. The headrest also incorporates the innovative Dynamic Force Absorber against side impacts.
Comfort that adapts and grows
Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads give the child more freedom of movement for their arms, and the leg room adjusts across 3 stages. The headrest adjusts to 10 positions, with symmetrical, simultaneous adjustment of the backrest and straps, and includes 2 inserts for an individual fit.
Easier everyday use for parents
Magnets hold the harness in place while you put your child into the seat, and installation is done with a click onto the Isofix base, with visual and audible confirmation indicators. The recline positions can be adjusted even after installation.
