This car seat is part of a modular system, which means you use the same Isofix Base with the first car seat (infant carrier) iZi Go Modular X1 i-Size, and when it reaches its usage limit, you can transition your child to the next seat, the iZi Modular X1 i-Size, using the same base. It lets the child travel rear-facing until 4 years (recommended), the position up to 5x safer. If needed, it can be turned forward-facing, but only from 15 months.

Reinforced side impact protection

Includes built-in side impact protection (SIP) in the seat shell and additional SIP+ protection with a sliding design that fits quickly and securely onto the seat's frame. The headrest also incorporates the innovative Dynamic Force Absorber against side impacts.

Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads give the child more freedom of movement for their arms, and the leg room adjusts across 3 stages. The headrest adjusts to 10 positions, with symmetrical, simultaneous adjustment of the backrest and straps, and includes 2 inserts for an individual fit.
