How to select the TOG?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is the value that determines the warmth of a sleeping bag. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag will be. This is an indicator, however, how you dress the baby under the bag and the insulating layers of the mattress also influence the performance of the sleeping bag.

You can use this table as a guide to determine the TOG and the amount of clothing needed.
