The Joie I-Snug 2 Car Seat is slightly heavier than its predecessor (i-Snug) at 3.35 kg, but it still remains one of the lightest i-Size car seats on the market. The Tri-Protect™ headrest offers security with three layers of side protection. It combines with the bases: i-Base Encore (rotating base that allows the seat to rotate 90º towards the doors), i-Base , i-Base lx 2 and i-Base Advance. All bases (except i-Base) are compatible with subsequent car seats, maximizing use up to 4 years of age for the child. This car seat can be installed with the car's seat belts. It also combines with most Joie strollers and other brands on the market with Maxi-Cosi type adapters.
