Co-sleeping Cots

Co-sleeping cribs are designed to be attached to the parents' bed, allowing the baby to sleep in their own space, but close to them. Most of these cribs accompany the baby during the first 6 months. However, there are evolutionary models. These cribs bring great benefits to both baby and parents, such as:
  • Facilitates breastfeeding
  • Increases sense of security
  • Easier nighttime monitoring
  • Promotes safe sleep

Co-sleeping cots to keep your baby close to you at night. Rest easy with the closeness and security they need.

What is a co-sleeping cot and what's its advantage over a traditional cot?

This is a cot designed to sit right against the parents' bed, with one side that folds down or is removable, letting you keep the baby close at night without sharing the same sleep surface. It makes night-time breastfeeding and closeness easier, while keeping the baby in their own safe space. Models such as the Chicco Next2Me, Maxi-Cosi Iora or SnüzPod 5 in this collection are designed for this use.

Do these cribs attach securely to the parents' bed?

Yes. Most models, such as the Chicco Next2Me and the Maxi-Cosi Iora, include fixing straps that attach the crib to the bed frame, preventing gaps from forming. We recommend always following the manufacturer's assembly instructions and regularly checking that the fixing is secure.

Up to what age or weight can a co-sleeping cot be used?

As a general rule, these cribs are intended for the first few months, with the usual limit being around 9 kg or when your baby starts sitting up or standing on their own. The exact limits vary by model, so always check the weight and guidance on each product page.

Can the cot's height be adjusted to match my bed?

Yes. Models such as the Next2Me, the Maxi-Cosi Iora and the SnüzPod 5 have several height levels and, in some cases, adjustable legs or a tilt function, to line the crib up with beds of different heights. Check the product page for each model's adjustment range.

Can these cots' mattresses and protectors be washed?

Most models let you remove the liner or have a mattress with a washable cover, making hygiene easier. We recommend following the manufacturer's washing guidance and only using the original mattress, with the correct dimensions, to keep sleep safe.

What's the difference between Maxi-Cosi's Iora Plus, Pro, Air and Eco versions?

The different versions mainly differ in features and materials, such as recline systems, more breathable fabrics (Air) or recycled material options (Eco). If you're unsure which suits your needs best, the Bonabebe team can help you compare the models.
