About the fabrics

BabyBjörn offers a variety of fabrics designed for different tastes and needs. All materials are soft, durable, free from harmful substances and developed in-house to ensure superior quality.

3D Jersey

• Composition: 80% polyester, 16% cotton, 4% elastane
• Soft and velvety feel

• Composition: 65% recycled polyester, 35% cotton

3D Mesh

• Composition: 100% polyester

Washing instructions
No matter which material you choose, the Mini carrier can be machine washed at 40°C. It should be washed separately and not tumble dried. Use an ecological neutral detergent and strictly follow the dosing instructions. If you have a 3D mesh baby carrier, do not use fabric softener, as it will damage the quality of the fabric.

• 3D mesh is made of 100% polyester, a super soft and flexible fabric that dries quickly after washing. This is a breathable high-tech fabric, so it stays pleasantly cool when carrying your baby. The tactile qualities of 3D mesh enhance the closeness between you and your baby, and the high quality of the fabric ensures it retains its shape, wash after wash.

• 3D jersey is the softest and most velvety material. It is a stretchy fabric that gently hugs your baby. It comprises three layers, with the middle layer consisting of a single-fibre yarn. The different layers give stability to the carrier, while the material is breathable and releases excess heat. 3D jersey consists of 80% polyester, 16% cotton, 4% elastane. The shoulder straps are 100% cotton.

• Satin cotton is super soft and comfortable. The thin padding is 100% cotton, compact and flexible.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products
All fabrics that come into contact with your child's skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means they are gentle on your baby's skin and safe. Therefore, there is no need to wash before you start using it.
