Do I need to use an Ergobaby Infant Insert with the Omni Deluxe baby carrier?

The Omni Deluxe baby carrier was specifically designed so that you can carry your newborn (minimum 3.2 kg / 7 lbs) without the need for the Ergobaby infant snug insert. Easy to use, the Omni Deluxe's bucket seat gradually adjusts to your baby's growth, from newborn to toddler stage (3.2-20.4 kg / 7-45 lbs), to support the baby in an ergonomic M-shape position at all ages. Refer to the label on the waist belt or the instructions to adjust the seat according to the baby's height.

Up to what age and weight can I use the Omni Deluxe baby carrier?

The Omni Deluxe baby carrier is suitable from birth:

• Minimum weight of 3.2 kg up to 20.4 kg (7 lbs up to 45 lbs)

How can I adjust the Omni Deluxe baby carrier to my baby's size?

The Omni Deluxe carrier adapts to your baby's growth in just one step. Adjust the seat using the velcro tabs on the waist belt, based on the baby's height:

• along the red lines for a baby between 50.8-61 cm (~0-3 months);
• along the yellow lines for a baby between 61-71 cm (~3-9 months);
• along the blue lines for a baby over 71 cm (~9 months +).

How many ways can I carry my baby in the Omni Deluxe baby carrier?

The Omni Deluxe baby carrier offers four positions to carry your baby:

1. Front - Parent-facing
2. Front - Forward-facing
3. Hip
4. Back

The baby's height and developmental percentile will determine the best position to use.

• Front - Parent-facing: Min. 3.2 kg (7 lbs) and 50.8 cm (20 inches) up to a maximum of 20.4 kg (45 lbs).
• Front - Forward-facing: The baby must have good head and neck control and be taller than 63.5 cm (25 inches) - about 5-6 months. The baby's chin should always be above the top of the panel. We recommend a minimum weight of 6.4 kg (14 lbs) and a maximum weight of 13.6 kg (30 lbs) for this position.
• Hip: The baby must be able to sit independently and have a minimum weight of 7.8 kg (17.2 lbs) and a maximum weight of 20.4 kg (45 lbs). Generally, this position is used from 6 months of age.
• Back: The baby must be able to sit independently and have a minimum weight of 7.8 kg (17.2 lbs) and a maximum weight of 20.4 kg (45 lbs). This position is usually used from 6 months of age.

– Use the washing machine only when necessary. Be sure to use a gentle detergent and a delicate cycle, at no more than 30 degrees.
