What the Maxi-Cosi Soho Stroller Includes and Available Accessories
When you open the Maxi-Cosi Soho box, you'll find everything you need to start using the stroller: hood, armrest, integrated footrest, and included wheels. Additionally, it's important to note that you can purchase some additional accessories separately.
The rain cover, car seat adapters, cup holder, and carrycot are not included, but can be purchased separately according to family needs.
Maxi-Cosi Soho: Comfort and Practicality for Tall Parents
The Maxi-Cosi Soho stroller is an excellent option as a second stroller, especially for taller individuals, offering comfort due to its adjustable design.
The Maxi-Cosi Soho features larger wheels than most models in this segment (21 cm at the back and 18 cm at the front) and a spacious seat (56 cm long and 37 cm wide), therefore, it offers practicality and comfort for urban strolls.
Maxi-Cosi Soho Recline and Seat
First of all, the Maxi-Cosi Soho fully reclines thanks to a practical closing system, which allows the baby to rest in complete comfort. In addition, the brand equips the stroller with an XL canopy that offers excellent sun protection and includes a "peek-a-boo" window for increased ventilation.
On the other hand, the ventilated sides help reduce heat build-up on warmer days. However, full coverage can retain some heat, especially during summer.
To begin with, the Soho stroller's seat allows for easy harness adjustment through a practical sliding handle system. Currently, many new-generation strollers already include this type of harness, which makes it easier to buckle with three points instead of the traditional five. Additionally, the seat cover is removable, which simplifies washing.
However, as the backrest does not have a ventilation mesh, the stroller can get warmer in summer. To overcome this limitation, parents can opt for Aeromoov liners, which improve air circulation. It is also worth noting that the fabrics used are made from recycled materials, reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainability.
The Maxi-Cosi Soho's basket, while not the most accessible, has good capacity for strollers in this segment, making it a practical option for everyday use. The stroller includes a foot-operated brake system, which facilitates use in summer, and suspension on all four wheels, ensuring greater comfort during strolls.

Soho Stroller Folding, Opening, and Dimensions
To fold the Maxi-Cosi Soho, simply press a button and pull—the stroller folds easily and stands upright, which makes storage easier. Upon observing the measurements, we see that they are slightly larger than other models in this segment: 49 cm wide, up to 67 cm high with the handle attached, and 36 cm deep.
To open, the process is equally simple, requiring only pressing two buttons and a slight push. However, the weight of 8.2 kg makes it a bit heavier than other compact strollers. Still, the larger wheels and more spacious seat compensate, offering greater comfort for the baby.
Maxi-Cosi Soho Carrycot and Car Seat Compatibility
The Maxi-Cosi Soho is compatible with carrycots like the Sense or the older Oria, allowing its use from birth, although it was not designed as a main stroller, it allows the carrycot to be placed on the seat.
The Sense Carrycot offers good ventilation, an adjustable canopy, and a thick mattress, ensuring comfort in any season. It is lightweight and easy to transport, ideal for visits.
Alternatively, parents can use the Maxi-Cosi car seat with the Soho, using adapters sold separately (around €39). Models like CabrioFix, Pebble, and other compatible versions fit perfectly.
However, this solution is less recommended for long strolls, as the car seat does not offer the same ergonomics or comfort—it can even increase the risk of overheating and decreased oxygenation. For the baby's safety and well-being, the most suitable option for use from birth remains the carrycot.
Conclusion – Is it worth it or not?
The Maxi-Cosi Soho stands out, first and foremost, as an excellent second stroller, especially for its value for money, with prices between €280 and €340. Additionally, it is a solid option for holidays and occasional outings, thus offering comfort and practicality for daily life.
However, for those looking for an ultra-compact and lightweight stroller, ideal for airplane travel or frequent public transport commutes, the Soho might not be the most suitable choice. Nevertheless, there are more appropriate models for that type of mobility.
Even so, the stroller can be used from birth, although it is clear that its design was not originally conceived for that phase.
