• If it is too big, the baby can slip through the neckline, as it is too wide for their height.
• If this happens, the baby's face can get trapped under the material and prevent them from breathing properly.
• The child's head cannot pass through the neckline when the sleeping bag is closed.
• If it is too small, the baby will be uncomfortable and unable to move, will sleep poorly... and consequently, the parents will too.

How to select the TOG?

The TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is the value that determines the temperature of a sleeping bag. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag will be. This is an indicator; however, how you dress the baby under the bag and the insulating layers of the mattress also influence the performance of the sleeping bag.

You can use this table as a guide to define the TOG and the amount of clothing needed.
