It's recommended to trim nails when the baby is calm, ideally just after a bath, when they're softer, and in a well-lit spot. Always keep the kit out of children's reach.

Oral hygiene can start even before the first teeth appear, by cleaning the gums with a finger toothbrush or damp gauze. Once teeth appear, at around 6 months, you can switch to a soft, age-appropriate toothbrush, such as those from Chicco. We recommend following your paediatrician's or dentist's guidance on technique and toothpaste to use.
