The Advansafix PRO car seat is adaptable, suitable for children from 15 months old and 76 cm tall up to 150 cm (approx. 12 years), approved under safety standard R129 (i-Size). It always travels forward-facing, and the transition from the five-point harness (76-105 cm or 22 kg) to the three-point seat belt with SecureGuard (100-150 cm) is quick and easy with the FLIP&GROW system.
76-105 cm or 22 kg: 5-point harness
From 76 cm and 15 months up to 105 cm tall or 22 kg in weight (whichever comes first), the child is secured in the car seat with a five-point harness, which distributes impact forces at five points: two on the shoulders, two on the hips, and one on the buckle located between the legs. The harness pads reduce the child's movement in case of a collision, in addition to providing greater comfort for the harness. In this stage, the car seat is installed using Isofix and a top-tether.
100-150 cm: seat belt with SecureGuard
From 100 cm in height (and no later than 105 cm or 22 kg), the child is restrained directly with the car's three-point seat belt, in combination with SecureGuard. This piece adds a fourth anchor point to the belt to keep the lap section correctly positioned over the pelvic area, preventing it from dangerously riding up to the abdomen. It helps reduce forces on the abdomen by up to 35% in case of a frontal impact. In this stage, the car seat is installed using Isofix.
When it's time to transition from the harness to the seat belt, it will be much easier thanks to the FLIP&GROW function. Simply press a button to unlock the headrest and adjust it to the required height, and store the harness (without removing the chest pads) in the back of the backrest, behind the cover, so it doesn't get lost. Then, move the FLIP&GROW adjustment plate, rotate it to position the SecureGuard over the car seat, and the transition is complete.

The Kidfix PRO M i-Size car seat, approved under the R129 standard, better known as i-Size, is the last seat your child will need. It is suitable for children from 100cm to 150cm tall, and can be installed with Isofix (included). All of this combined with a redesigned seat area to offer optimal response in case of impact and ventilation holes in the structure for greater comfort during the journey.
Optimized seat area The seat area has been redesigned in close collaboration with leading car manufacturers to help reduce neck loads by up to 50 kg, according to internal tests carried out by Britax Römer with a Q10 dummy, representing a 10-year-old child. Easy-to-adjust ergonomic headrest The headrest has been specifically developed to offer maximum comfort to children and can be easily adjusted to the correct position. The marks on the back of the headrest guide parents to find the correct headrest height every time they move the seat to another vehicle or transport different children in the same seat. 360° Rotation
Once installed on the Vario 5Z Isofix Base (sold separately), the Dualfix 5Z i-Size rotates 360° to travel rear-facing from 61 cm up to 105 cm (recommended) or, if desired, it can be rotated forward-facing from 76 cm and 15 months of age. We recommend using the Dualfix 5Z rear-facing for the entire use of the car seat, as this orientation best protects the cervical vertebrae and head in the event of a frontal collision, the most common type of accident on the roads. In addition, the Dualfix 5Z rotates 90° to both sides to place and adjust the harness to the child from the open car door and can rotate in any recline position.Maximum comfort for the child
It reclines in six positions both rear-facing and forward-facing. The anti-rebound bar can be adjusted by 8° to better adapt to the car seat and offer up to 10% more legroom.
Greater side protection
The soft, padded side wings act as a protective shield that helps absorb the force of a side impact, thereby reducing the risk of injury to the child.
5-point harness with neoprene pads
The child is secured with the five-point harness both rear-facing and forward-facing, which, in the event of a collision, distributes the impact force among the five attachment points: two on the shoulders, two on the hips, and one on the central buckle located between the legs.
Secure installation
The Dualfix 5Z's Vario 5Z Isofix Base is installed with ISOFIX and a support leg. Compatible with any vehicle seat. Base sold separately here.
Isofix with Pivot Link
The ISOFIX connectors feature the Pivot Link system, patented by Britax Römer, which initially directs the impact force downwards, pushing the car seat against the vehicle seat and absorbing energy, then continuing forward more smoothly. This reduces the risk of head and neck injuries.
Modular base system
The Vario 5Z Isofix Base is compatible with Baby-Safe PRO, Baby-Safe 3 i-Size, Baby-Safe Core, and Dualfix 5z.
Removable textile
Both the textile and the chest pads can be easily removed for machine washing, without removing the harness.
