Cots with Bars

Most cots, such as those from Micuna, take a 120x60 cm mattress, one of the most common sizes in Portugal. Models such as the Stokke Sleepi have their own shapes; always check the size given to choose the right mattress and bedding.

Yes. Cots with bars usually offer several base height positions: higher in the first few months, to make it easier to lift your baby out, and lower once your child starts to sit up or stand. Follow the manufacturer's guidance when changing position.

On many growing models, you can remove one of the rails to turn the cot into a toddler bed, once your child is old enough. It's recommended to keep the rails up while your baby is small, for safety.
