How do I know which accessory is compatible with my highchair?

Most accessories are specific to each model. The cushions and the Baby Set for the Stokke Tripp Trapp are designed for that chair, just as the Micuna linings are designed for the Ovo chair. Always check the product page for which model the accessory is designed for; if in doubt, the Bonabebe team can confirm compatibility.

What is the Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Set and what's it for?

The Baby Set is an accessory that adds a backrest and side supports to the chair, making it suitable for smaller babies who can already sit up unaided, giving greater safety and comfort during meals. It's usually used from the point your baby can sit without support; check the recommended age on the product page.

Are the cushions and linings washable?

Generally, yes. Stokke cushions and Micuna covers are designed for daily use at the table and are generally washable to make cleaning up food residue easier. Always check the washing instructions on the label or product page to preserve the colours and fabrics.

Do I really need a cushion on the Tripp Trapp?

The cushion isn't compulsory, but it adds comfort and extra support, especially for younger children, as well as personalising the chair with different colours and patterns. Many families choose one to make mealtimes more comfortable. The choice mainly comes down to comfort and looks.

Are the liners and cushions universal, or specific to each model?

They are specific to the model they are designed for, as they follow the shape and fixing points of each chair. A Stokke Steps cushion, for example, does not fit a Tripp Trapp. That's why it's important to always check the model stated on the product page before buying.

From what age, and up to what age, is the Baby Set used?

The Baby Set starts being used once your baby can sit up unaided, giving them support at the table, and is no longer needed once your child can get in and out of the chair independently and safely. As this varies from child to child, we recommend following the manufacturer's guidance.
